30/06/2011
Hi Everyone-
Thank you for your continued patience and interest in this project. Life has been busy lately for me. I am typed on the Metroliner 3 now and am back on a somewhat regular schedule. I have been able to make more progress on YVR in the last few weeks, and I expect the project to be entering the beta testing phase in the next few weeks.

Just amazing! Was this project going to be Freeware? Than you are a real crack
Great work!!!
nice!!! love it!!!
good to hear beta testing will start.
Jon if you need a tester, I’m ATC with Navcanada, based in YYZ and would love to help you. I am also currently designing my own scenery so I know a bit about the process and what is and isn’t possible. Please email me if I can help you get this gem released.
Great Job Jonathan, looking forward to getting back into Van.
Looks Fantastic. So lookin forward to it!
Great news! Keep up your excellent work!
Awesome! Thanks for continuing this great project.
I will stay tuned..
I am so looking forward to this one
and Garry what scenery are you working on?
Were all so glad you are still on the project! Looks beautiful!
Working on a regional airfield in the UK at the moment, Exeter EGTE
Looks amazing!
This post made my day Jon, looks amazing. You could only imagine the impact this scenery will have on the FS community. If you need any testers… I am a Private Licensed Pilot going on my commercial. I also work the ramp for AC at YYZ. It’s 1325EST right now. I have to work a 773 that just arrived from CDG. AC881, reg. C-FRAM
right on time!
WTG on the Metroliner type rating JG! Great news for sure.
He leaves the scenery soon ?
Awesome! Thank you Jonathan for your continued hard work on this much anticipated project. All the best.
Wow, I have been waiting for this add on very anxiously! If you need help (beta testers) I am availible.
Amazing Stuff Jonathan! The FS community (especially in Canada) been waiting for a high quality YVR scenery for about 7 years now. Keep up the good work! Question… While I have been an avid FS9 user will the scenery be for FS9 or FSX or both? I have been holding off upgrading my PC for some time and I am starting to realize that switching to FSX sometime soon is inevitable.
Still check in on the progress every time I turn on a computer. Can’t think of a more anticipated piece of work in the last ten years, for me anyways. Go Jonathan!
Glad you haven’t given up on this project, it looks beyond amazing and can’t wait to see the finished product!
Still checking in on a daily basis. I’m boycotting my sim till it is installed. haha
Any updates on how this is coming along?
fantastic news, i just arrived to Vancouver, been here a week now and its a fantastic city and wonderful approach and skyline, i’m work as photographer and studied 3d-art on university level and been working on some swedish airport myself so i thought that i should take a look if someone has made vancouver and was suprised that it didnt seem to be any good ones out there, so i have to say that i’m very glad to see this one on the go, it looks lovely and now i can concentrate on my scandinavian sceneries instead and enjoy the great work you’ve done.
hope to see it released soon!
greatings from a sunny whistler.

FSDT started their new project : Vancouver

I still hope you finish your project…
Well apparently, FSDT is only making their scenery for FSX, so you still have the upper hand as FS9 is STILL IN DIRE NEED of a YVR project. And even if they do decide to release an FS9 copy. Even more reason for you to take your time and make sure you have the absolute superior version.
