    Hey Jonno,

Sweet shots! YVR is looking rather tasty.
I’m still knee deep in crackfiller dust here. Eric is due in 6 weeks. Needless to say I’ve had no time for simming or designing. I don’t even have my desktops hooked up.
Hope all is well with you and look forward to chatting on Skype some time in the not too distant future.

Hey LOVE CanUK, I live in Windsor ONT and I hear you are part of the team. Can CANUK Scenery for FS9 work in FSX? If so if there like a texture conversion program? Thanks Buddy

Hi Jonno, I´ve seen that you create 2 more canadian Airports for the flightsimulator and they look very, very great! I´ve tested some sceneries for aerosoft and some for digital Aviation and my last was the nice scenery of Kai Tak of FlyTampa and I wanted to ask you, if I can test your sceneries. I was 2 times in vancouver and I love this airport. Winnipeg is also a nice airport but I wasn´t there :(

    Thank you so much!
    Best regarts,
    Timm

    Hi Jonathan,
Your work looks awesome. I am from Edmonton, AB and FS lover since a while. I was trying to find out where is your scenery will be downloadable but don`t know. I do have a lot of sceneries from CANUK and your CYVR would be a great ad to my library.

    Thanks for replying me.

    Regards,

    Hi Mr.Gabbert!

I have just found this website and i must say VERY nice work and i cant wait to fly in and out of your CYVR.

I was wondering if you have any plans in the future to redo CYYZ and set it in the future a bit so all of the new T1 is complete?

    Thanks
    Andrew

Looking Great. One small request. So many airports are so dead nowadays that scenery designers make. Any chance that you would include a static aircraft package for those of us who only fly online on Vatsim? If it was an “optional” inclusion it would suit the AI traffic crowd, and the “online” traffic crowd both. I have refused to buy payware sceneries of airports that don’t include a static aircraft package, (like the blueprint stuff) even though the sceneries are nice… an empty airport takes the “feeling” away for me. This project looks GREAT and I can’t wait for it!

Very good looking scenery mate. I had one thing that i wanted to get by you. Currently i am working on the Winnipeg airport new terminal redevolpment to use with the CYWG scenery by Adam Bentley and David Madge. So far i got all the dimensions and created the sets of buildings accordingly including the new parkade. If you are still in interest with the work your doing on CYWG it would be great if we could maybe share some ideas. Now i know you are currently focussing on the vancouver scenery, which is awsome! but i was very interested in the current progress you have on Winnipeg.

I’d like to give a little help with the scenery. can you please contact me back via email? thanx

    Hey Jon-

Fantastic work so far! I’m a pilot for SkyWest and flight sim developer as well and fly into YVR all the time. I get to take my crews to hang out at the Beav as well, and your scenery looks spot on.

Let me know if you need more data or pics. I have some video you might like.

Hi Jonathan. Glad to see YVR is coming along so well. I can’t wait.

Another airport that has never really been included at all in scenery development is Edmonton CYEG. Perhaps CanUK would look at doing YEG in the near future unless you’d like to tackle it?

Keep up the great work mate. All the best.

OOOH MAN! This is by far the best freeware scenery I have ever seen! YVR is such a beautiful airport, and yet… no has made a decent scenery for it. I find myself checking for updates every day almost. I bet it’s going to attract a lot of vatsim flyers to fly Van. I’m sure the CZVR controllers are going to be thankful. I know I am.

  17. Dennis said

    Hey,
you have really very good sceneries as it looks in the screens. My question is: When are the builds in Winnipeg finished and furthermore when is the scenery finished?

    I honestly can’t wait for CYWG…

Just make sure you don’t leave out any details in the 5 dollar oatmeal cookies they sell at the airside cafe.

Can you tell me where I can download this beautiful scenery.
We would like to thank Jonathan.

This project appears to be dropped. I understand that it will be freeware, although I would pay money for it (if it is great as it looks from these pictures). Please let me know whether work on it will start back up and the project will be taken to completion.

  24. Niclas said

Unfortunately, it really seems to be dropped. Those shots look so amazing, it would be a pity when it would not be finished :( I had great hopes in this project, and I agree, I would donate for this work as well.

  25. Randall Smith said

Johnathan…can we get an update….this would be a pity if you have dropped this as it looks as though it is almost ready… Simflyers did the same when they were close to being done with YVR as well..

    Please Update….

Hey Jonathan, seeing Winnipeg airport in real life every day should give you the incentive to FINISH it first. The Winnipeg Virtual FIR would love to link it our website….. A couple of your fellow Perimeter pilots are part of the staff.

    Hey Jon,

I just wanted to let you know, with the fsdt yvr out, seems as though you have released the more superior product, as a lot of their users are feeling the aftereffects of having a performance demanding scenery fo fsx. I even think your building textures look better.

I love YVR! very good choice sir!

Drop me a line, i’m curious as to see whether you’ll be releasing another scenery in the future. maybe I can help :P

I heard about the Metroliner at Perimeter, I was very sorry to hear that. Hope everything is ok!

    Richard
